Day 8

My second Sunday in Glassbolt finally arrives and I can use the money I’ve earned to add a few new things to the shack. I add stairs up to the roof and a fence. I don’t have the money to add a rocket ship yet, but that will come in time.

I add a chess table and a dining table and chairs to the main floor. I also move around the stools to make room.
I’m pretty excited about these things and use them as soon as I get home from work. I’ve also added a punching bag into one of the basement levels, but it looks like a scene from a horror movie down there so I won’t share the photo I took. With some hacking money I make while completing my daily task, I’m also able to add a violin to this room. I don’t know why it called to me, but I feel like I know how to play. I’m not a master, but I’m good. I know it.
I guess that’s another memory wipe mystery.

Between the subpar bed and the demands of my new daily task, I find that sometimes I don’t have time to go fishing and have started delving into my produce stash. I guess on my days off I’ll have to stash away some fish and deal with the fact they will become less fresh over time.
Day 9

Just as I return from being promoted to level 7, Angel arrives with the bills. I sigh and wave politely to her as we pass each other. She’s just doing her job.

I pay the bills and then the extra protection money, bringing my balance down to zero.
Luckily, I haven’t done my daily task yet since I just got back from work. Soon I’ll have some money to cook my fish.
